Hunter Lane Applewhite, 29, of Kokomo, received a grand jury indictment on three counts stemming from an Aug. 25, 2020 incident.
Two counts involved drug possession, the first of which is possession of .103 grams of methamphetamine, and the second is 1.293 grams of heroin.
The third charge dealt with tampering of evidence when he attempted to discard a bag of narcotics.
Applewhite is currently free after posting a $45,000 bond.
