Jackson, Miss. - Mississippi Forestry Association (MFA) named Kaye Givens, Betty Walley, Cary Williams and Jimmy Broughton of Marion County, Mississippi, as the 2025 MFA Outstanding Service to CFAs Award recipients. This award recognizes individuals who have gone above and beyond in their work with a local County Forestry Association (CFA).
This group of winners is a very special group of individuals who have served the Marion CFA with dedication and commitment for more than 35 years. The volunteerism and self-sacrifice of these loyal leaders have been an inspiration to many as this group has helped hold their CFA together to promote forestry in their county and throughout the state since 1987. Their tenure of service exemplifies outstanding devotion to the forestry needs of the landowners their CFA serves. This special group, ages 83, 86, 91, and 93, has been continuously active in the leadership of the Marion CFA since its inception in 1987, and they continue to play an integral role in the success of this association to this very day.
