The Marion County Sheriff’s Office on Friday executed operation “Round Robin,” which yielded 13 arrests.
The sheriff’s office said in a news release that it was the result of a multi-month narcotics investigation. Investigators were able to purchase a variety of controlled substances, including prescription medication, marijuana, ecstasy, crack cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine. Investigators seized 57 dosage units of Oxycodone, 57 dosage units of Xanbar, over a ½ ounce of methamphetamine, Dilaudid and 23.13 grams of marijuana.
Those arrested include:
• Shawn Michael Dickinson, 34, Columbia, conspiracy to possess a controlled substance-heroin;
• Terrell Lasteven Mark, 36, Columbia, two counts of sale or transfer of a controlled substance within 1500 feet of a school;
• Jacorean Dupree Johnson, 23, Columbia, sale or transfer of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school;
• Arthur Charles Mitchell III, 22, Columbia, three counts of sale or transfer of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school;
• Kentrell Oneal Varnado, 26, Poplarville, two counts of sale or transfer of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a church;
• Tabitha Ashley Lowery, 26, Columbia, conspiracy to possess a controlled substance-heroin;
• Andrew Demarcus Holmes, 27, Columbia, sale or transfer of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a church, two grand jury indictments alleging sale or transfer of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a park;
• Alexander Chance Weaver, 24, Columbia, conspiracy to possess a controlled substance-heroin;
• Raheem Shavon Hill, 26, Foxworth, sale or transfer of a controlled substance within 1500 feet of a school, 6 counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute;
• Kiara Danielle Grindle, 30, Foxworth, four counts of sale or transfer of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school;
• Alan Keith Sanders, 20, Meridian, grand jury indictment alleging possession of a controlled substance while in possession of a firearm;
• Ivy Lee Carney, 57, Columbia, MDOC warrant for violation of probation;
• Solomon Ray Hollins Jr., 28, Columbia, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, MDOC probation violation.
The sheriff’s office said it is also seeking the following on warrants:
• Demarco Lee Franklin, 35, Columbia, sale or transfer of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a church;
• Timothy Jamar Johnson, 38, Columbia, three counts of sale or transfer of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a church;
• Kenyon Oneal Howard, 41, Columbia, two counts of sale or transfer of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a church or park;
• LaDamien Davon Peters, 24, Columbia, two counts of sale or transfer of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a church;
• Janell Lewis, 28, Columbia, sale or transfer of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of school.
