Stampley powering CHS

For the past few years, the Columbia Lady Wildcats have been among the teams to beat in Class 3A but have yet to break through. There was a great shot of that happening last season, but it got lost to the pandemic.
So far in 2021, the Lady Wildcats (4-0) have looked mighty strong with senior Kacey Stampley leading the way.

CA reaches Overall Elite 8

Columbia Academy’s quest to win its first Overall championship is still alive as it dominated its first-round game Tuesday night.
The Lady Cougars (29-9) picked up the victory in convincing fashion, building a 20-point lead and beating Manchester Academy 49-31 on the road.

West Marion undefeated

Despite allowing 34 runs in their first three games and having four starters hurt, the West Marion Lady Trojans remain undefeated to begin the 2021 softball season.
After beating Seminary 9-7 at Columbia Feb. 20 to begin the year, the Lady Trojans (3-0) went on the road Feb. 23 and won a high-scoring game 16-12 over Magee.
