East Marion’s dream of winning a second state championship in the past three years came to a screeching halt Saturday night at Bay Springs.
The Eagles (14-3) fought hard in the third round with a trip to the Mississippi Coliseum on the line, but Bay Springs (25-0) pulled away for a 68-63 victory.
