West Marion dominates Seminary in sweep

After starting the season off with six straight losses, an unheard losing streak in Foxworth, the West Marion Trojans have turned the corner and have won seven of their last 10 games, including a pair of dominant wins over Seminary last week to begin Region 8-3A play.

It didn’t matter that the Columbia Academy Cougars were down a couple of starters or that they were playing during their week off from school. They got the job done in the Battle at the Beach, winning three games against quality opponents in convincing fashion and showcasing their sky-high ceiling in 2023.

Columbia hosts 2023 Wildcat Invitational

Several local students earned recognition in the process, delivering strong performances as they continue to climb towards their ultimate goals for the season.
