Two more local rivals clashed last week in a two-game series between Columbia Academy and West Marion, with both teams earning a win on their home field. The Trojans staved off a late CA comeback attempt March 7 for a 9-8 win in Foxworth, but the Cougars bounced back March 9 in Columbia, jumping ahead early and holding on to win 8-2.
