East Marion began its season Tuesday night at home against its biggest rival, but the Lady Eagles couldn’t quite hang with West Marion down the stretch.
The Lady Eagles (0-1) have pretty much dominated West Marion (3-2) over the past decade, but the 69-57 loss didn’t come as a surprise to East Marion head coach Calvin Brown.
