CA flashes elite potential in Copiah tourney

Wildcats swept twice in home tourney

The Columbia Wildcats went through a rebuilding season last year under first-year head coach Ryan Loftin, going 5-15, and are still trying to reestablish a winning culture. They hosted the Mountain Dew Classic Saturday to open the season but were swept by both Seminary and West Marion.

Lady Cougars get off to hot start

After placing fourth in the state in Class 3A last season, the Columbia Academy Lady Cougars are off to a hot start in 2021 and seem to have all the right ingredients to compete in Class 5A this season.
