Lighting the way with bells

Once again, the Marion County Development Partnership and Experience Columbia organizations are working on a portion of the project to use lighted bells to light the way from U.S. 98 to downtown Columbia.

CA celebrates Boo Fest 2021

Every nine weeks, Headmaster Angie Burkett completes her highly sought-after "Mrs. Angie's List." The requirements range from of grades, discipline, accelerated reading points and tardiness.
For the first time since Covid, Boo Fest made a comeback for the first nine-week term.

Clark named new veteran’s service officer

Tracey Clark, a Foxworth resident, has taken over as the veteran’s service officer for Marion County, replacing Dewey Blansett, who is retiring. She officially assumed the position on Oct. 18 at the Veteran’s Service Office located in the Marion County BusinessPlex.
