In 2025, Celebrate Sela presented a $20,000 donation to Children’s Hospital of Mississippi, continuing its mission to raise CDH (congenital
diaphragmatic hernia) awareness and support families and children in need. Since the first race in 2015, Celebrate Sela has raised over $164,000 and proudly has a private NICU room named in Sela’s honor.
Community members across south Mississippi are invited to participate in the Celebrate Sela: Race to Raise CDH Awareness 5K Run/Walk and Half Mile Fun Run on April 18 at Friendship Park. The event is dedicated to raising awareness and support for families affected by congenital diaphragmatic hernia, or CDH.
