Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018, at Pine Grove United Pentecostal Church for Landon Scott Williamson, 25, of Kokomo, who passed away on Friday, June 1. Burial followed in Pine Grove United Pentecostal Church Cemetery. Pastor Jerron Carney, Bro. Darrin Powell and Pastor Randall McKay officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 3 until the time of the services on Monday, June 4 at Pine Grove United Pentecostal Church.
He was born Aug. 28, 1992, to Rusty Williamson and Rhonda Williamson. He was a 2010 graduate of West Marion High School. He attended Woodlawn Church and Pine Grove United Pentecostal Church. He was employed by USAccess Mats in Monticello. He loved spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies included collecting guns, old coins and historical artifacts. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by two grandparents, Colon Williamson and Mary Maxine Tanksley.
He is survived by his mother, Rhonda Williamson of Hattiesburg; father, Rusty Williamson (Donna Renee) of Columbia; two brothers, Colby Williamson and Zach Davis, both of Columbia; grandfather, Chester Tanksley (Stacy) of Kokomo; two grandmothers, Ann Williamson and Norma Williamson, both of Columbia, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers were Colby Williamson, Zach Davis, Kevin Tanksley, Daniel Sloan, Michael Bullock and Chris Bullock. Honorary pallbearers were Garrett Evans, Steven Bracey, Devin Bracey, P.J. Polk and Hunter Applewhite.
