She was a people person. She worked 12 years with the Marion County Civil Defense. She was also a substitute school teacher for many years at West Marion High School and served on the Marion County School Board. She was very passionate about all of the children that she taught and cared for, and in a sense, she thought of them as her own. She enjoyed the outdoors and was a hunter and fisher. The most important things in her life were her family and her love for the Lord. She was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church in Foxworth.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenny Prine, and mother, Julia Elliot.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Terry Earls of Foxworth; one daughter, Candi Lee (Craig) of Hattiesburg; one son, Mike Earls (Angi) of Foxworth; two brothers, Greg Prine (Tammy) of Wilmur, Ala. and Sammy Prine (Kay) of Columbia, and seven grandchildren, Parker Earls, Ryder Earls, Jagger Earls and Madi Ard, all of Foxworth, Malori Ard of Columbia and Branton McKenzie and Isabella Lee, both of Hattiesburg.
