Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel for Lucy Marie Whitehead, 60, of Foxworth, who died on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at her residence in Foxworth. Burial followed in Kokomo Community Cemetery. Rev. Ryan Freeman officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, April 22, at Colonial Funeral Home.
She was primarily a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Lucy never met a stranger and as a result, made many friends. However, her most enjoyment was spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Crystal Marie Igleharte; parents, Wilmer Ray Louge and Barbara Ann Edwards Louge; and brother, Clarence Louge.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Whitehead; son, Mark Igleharte; sisters, Rose Cochran (Lefty) and Pat Watson; brothers, Brian Louge and Quitman Louge; five grandchildren, Charles Igleharte, Micah Igleharte, Kayla Igleharte, Alexis Igleharte and Katlyn Igleharte; and a great-granddaughter, Crystal Merritt.
Pallbearers were Mark Igleharte, Lee Cochran, Dustin Cochran, Charles Igleharte, Quitman Louge and Patrick Harris.
