Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2023, at Hathorn Funeral Home for Rose Alyece Lowe, 65, of Foxworth, who died on Sunday, Sept. 24, at her residence. Burial followed in Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Foxworth. Rev. Brett Frazier and Rev. Dave Nichols officiated at the services. Chris Turnage provided special music. Visitation was held from noon until the time of the services on Tuesday, Sept. 26, at Hathorn Funeral Home.
She was an active member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed baking, cake decorating and anything creative. Her hobbies included reading, dancing and listening to music. Holidays, birthdays and all occasions where she spent time with family brought her great joy. Her greatest life lessons were trusting in God and loving deeply. She was kind and generous to all that came in contact with her. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Lowe; father, Harold Dean Coley; and father-in-law, E.C. Lowe.
Survivors include her two daughters, Andrea Porter (Bryan) and Tessa Hansen (Jon); mother, Libra Elaine Powell Coley; four grandchildren, Cameron Henebry, Jacob Porter, Benton Hauser and Nathan Foster; two sisters, Karen Windham (Ray) and Janice Seago (Stafond); mother-in-law, Billie Lowe; two brothers-in-law, Jeff Lowe and Todd Lowe (Cindy); and sister-in-law, Lisa Kister.
Pallbearers were Bryan Porter, Jon Hansen, Benton Hauser, Nathan Foster, Ray Windham, Stafond Seago, Thomas Windham, Tyler Windham and Todd Lowe. Honorary pallbearer was Jacob Porter.
