Timothy “Tim” Milton Folse

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence for Timothy “Tim” Milton Folse, 75, of Columbia, who passed away on Saturday, Dec. 7, in Jackson. Burial followed in Biloxi National Cemetery. Visitation was held from 9 a.m. until the time of the services on Thursday, Dec. 12, at Chancellor Funeral Home.
He was born on Dec. 13, 1948, to James Milton Folse and Josie Lacoste Folse in Morgan City, La. He was a patriot and served his country proudly in Vietnam with the United States Navy. He worked as an electronic technician for BellSouth/AT&T and retired after 29 years of service. He enjoyed shrimping after his retirement. Known as an executor of daydreams, he enjoyed life and had a hankering to do it. He loved life to the fullest. Above all else, he loved his family, especially his two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mark Folse; daughter, Kristy Folse; and sister-in-law, Judy Folse.
Survivors include his son, Davey Folse (Kelly) of Clinton; sister, Paula Sanders (Forest) of Columbia; brother, Mike Folse of Berwick, La.; grandson, D.J. Folse of Clinton; granddaughter, Alyssa Folse of Clinton; two nephews; one niece and a host of cousins and extended family.
