A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, 2018, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Charles Ray Toon, 77, of Collins, who died on Tuesday, March 6, at his residence. Burial will follow at a later date in Watson Memorial Cemetery in Watson, Okla. The Rev. Glenn Shoemake will officiate at the services. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until the time of the services of Sunday, March 11, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home.
He was born in Aug. 15, 1940, in Watson, Okla. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother. He retired from Confederate Oil and Gas after 15 years of service as a pumper. He served in the United States National Guard for six years and was a member of the Sulphur Springs Baptist Church in Watson, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hershal and Lillie Keiss Toon; an infant son, Martin Ray Toon, and sister, Genice Allen.
Survivors include his four children, Audrey Owen (Bucky) of Goliad, Texas, Cindy Maxwell (Tommy) of Collins, Charles Regan Toon and Stacie Revette, both of Foxworth; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Arla Toon (Dianna) and Ivan Toon (Ann) both of Watson, Okla. and Leon Toon of Overland Park, Kan., and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
