Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, at Colonial Funeral Home for Charles Waymon Powell, 83, of Columbia, who died on Tuesday, Aug. 1, at his residence. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. The Rev. Jody Pyles will officiate at the services. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 4, at Colonial Funeral Home.
A native of Kokomo, he was a safety engineer and was a member of the Baptist faith.
