Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, at Colonial Funeral Home for Demita Buchanan, 53, of Kokomo, who died on Saturday, Sept. 2, in Jackson. Interment followed in Holly Springs Cemetery. The Rev. Felix Arnold officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the services on Tuesday, Sept. 5, at Colonial Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her father, M.D. Buchanan; sister, Patricia Ann Martin, and brother, David Buchanan.
Survivors include her mother, Faye Buchanan; sister, Debbie Speights, niece, Cherie Martin, and nephew, Steve Martin.
