A private graveside service was held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at Emmanuel Cemetery for Eugenia W. Day, 84, of Columbia, who died on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at her residence. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, at Hathorn Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles V. and Geneva Welch; husband, Charles R. Day, and son, Stanley Michael Watts.
Survivors include her daughter, Diane Reeves (Zeb) of Columbia; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
