Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, at New Zion United Methodist Church for Huston “Punkin” Thompson, 70, of Columbia, who died on Friday, Sept. 29, at his residence. Interment followed in Rest Haven. The Rev. Mark Jones officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 6, at Cook Galloway and from 11 a.m. until the time of the services of Saturday, Oct. 7, at New Zion United Methodist Church.
Cook Galloway was in charge of arrangements.
