Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017, at Hurricane Creek Baptist Church for Mrs. Kitza Michele Parker, 56, of Sandy Hook, who died on Friday, July 28, in Sandy Hook. Internment followed in Hurricane Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Zachary Smith officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the services on Tuesday, Aug. 1, at Hurricane Creek Baptist Church.
A native of Hereford, Texas, she was a homemaker and a member of Hurricane Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dimple Cumpton; husband, Sabe Parker and sister, Kimberly Mateo.
Survivors include her father, Melvin Cumpton; two daughters, Merissa and Sheliah Parker; son, Ramsey Cumpton; two sisters, Belinda Moore and Mona Gail Cox; two brothers, Rodney and Randal Cumpton and two grandchildren, Gabriel Ward and Andrea Cumpton.
Colonial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
