Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, at the Brushy Creek Baptist Church for Mrs. Jimmie Ruth Moree, 87, of Columbia, who died on Saturday, Dec. 16, in Baton Rouge. Burial followed in Brushy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Doug Barber officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 19, at the Brushy Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sedgie and Sylvia Oglesbee; husband, Robert Moree; two sons, Gary “Buddy” Moree and Tony Moree, and two brothers, Sedgie “Chinc” Oglesbee and Doyle Oglesbee.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Alexander of Liberty; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
