Emily Welch of Columbia recently earned her Louisiana Professional Geologist License. She is the youngest in the state to do so. She is a graduate of Columbia Academy and Mississippi State University. Her parents are Tommy and Cindy Welch, and her grandparents are Mitchell and Marilyn Welch, and Bonnie Sumrall.
