Coming off of a run-rule defeat in Game 1, it could have been easy for Columbia Academy to call it a day May 14 in Senatobia. But with the MAIS Class 5A State Championship on the line, the Cougars showed heart, even in defeat, falling late in a 6-5 Game 2 loss to Mississippi’s top team.
