Stringer tosses no-hitter for West Marion in Game 1

Whenever Kolby Stringer is on the mound for West Marion, the Trojans typically have good odds of winning. Even with minimal run support, Stringer and the Trojans defense led West Marion to victory in Game 1 by no-hitting Seminary at The Swamp Monday to move within one victory of a return trip to the state championship.

Cougars crush Parklane to reach first state title since 2017

MCCOMB — In 2023 and 2024, Columbia Academy reached the South State Championship, but the Cougars couldn’t quite break through that glass ceiling. CA wanted 2025 to be different and made its dreams a reality by dominating Parklane Academy in a two-game sweep to secure a spot in the 2025 MAIS State Championship series.
