Breanna Rogers and Hunter Wells of Columbia were united in marriage at 4 o’clock on the evening of Saturday, November 29th, 2025, surrounded by family and friends at The Venue at Roseoak in Petal, Miss.
The bride is the daughter of Stevie and Alicia Rogers of Columbia. The groom is the son of Chris and Maria Wells of Columbia.
The bride wore a gorgeous Justin Alexander gown with stunning beading on the bodice, purchased from Bliss Bridal, in Hattiesburg, Miss. Her hand-beaded cathedral length veil and hand painted bridal shoes added a special personal touch. The bride’s makeup was beautifully done by BreAnna Hatfield, and Megan Turnage created an amazing up-do to complete her stunning look. The bride carried a beautiful bouquet made by Florals by Roseoak. The bouquet also included two photo charms in memory of her late grandfathers, Steve Badon and Johnny Rogers.
The bride, escorted by her father, arrived at the ceremony site on a horse drawn carriage. The couple then exchanged vows under the cover of a more than 600-year-old oak tree adorned with three chandeliers. Stephen Ross officiated the ceremony.
The reception followed at the carriage house at Roseoak, where the tables were draped in white linens and were decorated with white floral arrangements and gold accents. As the guests entered the reception, they were asked to add their fingerprint to a “Fingerprint Tree” created by “Alicia Rogers Fine Art.” The reception was catered by “Honeymoon Catering.” A simple yet deliciously gorgeous 3-tiered wedding cake was provided by “Cakes by Gavin.” The groom’s cake was artistically decorated by Melanie Russell to look like a water well drilling truck. The DJ, Sean Conerly, did an amazing job providing music that kept the crowd on the dance floor, as well as videography for the day. The evening was finished off with a breathtaking fireworks show and sparkler exit, both provided by Roseoak.
Peyton Wells served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids included Carson Lawley, Landon Ross, Kally Branch and Savanna Mahaffey. The bridesmaids wore taupe dresses in various styles. Flower girls were Lachlan Wells and Kenley Howarth.
Brandon Rhodes served as Best man. Groomsmen included Cody Flynt, Hunter Ford, Noah Branch and Alex Howarth. Honorary groomsman was Koleston Taylor, the bride’s son. Ring bearer was Layden Howarth. Ushers included Jackson Reagan and Cole Stringer. The guys were dressed in taupe jackets over white button up shirts with matching jeans.
Bridal party hair was created by Megan Turnage, and makeup was provided by BreAnna Hatfield and Skylar Stuart. Photography was provided by CC’s Photography. Wedding planning, coordinating, and decorating was provided by Lisa Johnson, owner of the Venue at Roseoak.
