Lisa Coker and Kenneth McNease of Columbia announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Amanda Marie McNease of Columbia, to Lance Joseph Bergeron of Houma, La., son of Patti Schexnayder and the late Allen Bergeron of Houma, La.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Howard and Joyce Pittman of Columbia and the late Kenneth and Jimmie McNease of Columbia. She is a 2001 graduate of Columbia Academy and a 2003 graduate of Pearl River Community College with a degree in radiography. She is a member of Daughters of the Confederacy. She is employed with Jefferson Davis Community Hospital.
The future groom is the grandson of the late Hervis and the late Annie Manson of Houma, La., and the late Alton Bergeron and the late Leona Crochet of Houma, La. He is a 1997 graduate of H.L. Bourgeois High School. He is a member of Sons of Confederate Veterans. He is employed with General Dynamics.
The couple will exchange wedding vows at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2018, at Miller Barn in Lumberton followed by a reception.
