Mr. and Mrs. Theodore E. Carley III of Columbia are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Greta Virginia Carley to Zachary Lee Smith, son of Mr. And Mrs. Sidney Juan Smith of Brookhaven.
Ms. Carley is a 2014 graduate from Columbia Academy and a 2018 cum laude graduate of the University of Mississippi Meek School of Journalism and New Media with a degree in Integrated Marketing and Communications and a minor in Business Administration.
Mr. Smith is a 2014 graduate of Brookhaven Academy and a 2018 cum laude graduate of the University of Louisiana Monroe with a degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Mr. Smith has plans to enter the Doctor of Dental Medicine program at the University Medical Center in Jackson following the wedding.
The wedding will take place at First Baptist Church on Aug. 4, 2018, at 6:00 pm with a reception to follow at the Columbia Academy Fine Arts Building.
The couple will reside in Jackson.
