#7 Jerqalin Boyd: As the season progressed in 2024, West Marion found that good things tend to happen when the ball is put in Boyd’s hands. Now as the unquestioned bellcow, Boyd could eclipse 1,000 yards on the ground.
#12 Kardell Peters: Head coach Mason Woodrow has coached some great receivers over the years, but he believes Peters is the smoothest of them all. If West Marion’s preseason work is any indication, look for Peters to be the top deep threat in all of Marion County.
#15 James Lee: Lee has done nothing but make plays while moving all over the field for the Trojans. Now solidified as the middle linebacker, look for Lee to make a serious leap his senior season and draw interest from colleges.
#16 Braxton Albritton: Albritton has steadily progressed since being thrown into the fire as a freshman and had a breakout campaign as a junior. Now that West Marion has a more reliable running game, the four-year starter could produce an extremely efficient season as the Trojans make a deep postseason run.
#54 Logan Green: Green wreaked havoc as a freshman, transferred for his sophomore season and is now back with the Trojans as a junior. The 6-foot-3 defensive tackle has unrivaled strength and athleticism and could be Marion County’s top defensive lineman by year's end.
