Services for Mrs. Laquita Jordan were held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 01, 2026 at Hudson Chapel Church of God. Bro. Leray Evans and Bro. Paul Jordan officiated. Burial was held in church cemetery.
Visitation was held 2-3p.m. prior to church service at Hudson Chapel Church of God.
Mrs. Jordan, age 73, of Union, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026.

Billy Steven Harber, also known as Coach Harber to many, 72, won his final game and entered Heaven’s gate on December 17, 2025.
Coach Harber was a lifelong coach for 51 years where he touched and impacted athletes and students in not only in basketball but also in the game of life. As a proud Mississippi State University Alumni, he began his career as a teacher and basketball coach at Decatur, and later coached at Sturgis High School, Union High School, Forest High School, Lamar School, Newton County High School, and Newton County Academy.
