Robertson cheers her way to PRCC

Madison Robertson traded in the blue and gold of Columbia High School for maroon and gold pompoms Thursday morning.
The senior co-captain inked a scholarship with family, teammates, coaches and faculty by her side to cheer at Pearl River Community College and is excited for the opportunity.

2 shot at Reagan’s Corner

Two individuals were shot Wednesday afternoon at Reagan's Corner after a fight broke out between two customers at the front counter.
The Marion County Sheriff's Office and a witness confirmed the incident began when a customer punched another customer. Guns were drawn by both parties as shots rang out throughout the gas station.

CHS soccer notches 1st-ever wins

The Columbia High School soccer program picked up its first two wins in its inaugural season Friday night at Moss Point.
The Lady Wildcats (1-6) beat Moss Point 4-0 in a great performance, while the Wildcats (1-3) knocked off the Tigers 2-1.
