Columbia is one of 11 communities throughout the state to receive a Small Town Revitalization grant from Mississippi State University’s Fred Carl Jr. Small Town Center, which will exclusively be used on Friendship Park’s new state-of-the-art playground that has a preliminary grand opening date of Nov. 1.
