Businesses that enhance the local economy

Marion County is home to many businesses. Some of them are large, some are midsize and some are small. Every single one of them has an impact on the local economy no matter their size. A business that opens and is successful is a treasure to the area and should be appreciated by everyone who works and lives in this community.

United Parcel Service Retail Store #4684, located at 107 Walter Payton Dr., has undergone some changes since purchased by the T. John Harvey family in September 2021.
"Changes can be rough but usually end up being a positive thing," UPS Manager William Nealy said.

County changes districts, elections upcoming

All of Marion County is now a part of the third United States Congressional District instead of the fourth and now has a new representative in Congress. Representative Michael Guest will replace Representative Steven Palazzo in speaking for the voters of Marion County.
