Bigger isn’t always better in football

It's not about the size of the athlete — never has been, never will be — yet over the past decade, I've seen phenomenal young football players constantly get overlooked in recruiting because of their height or weight. That really needs to change.

Lady Cougars softball back in action

Turf means more tourism taxes

On July 19, the Columbia Board of Aldermen met and approved an engagement resolution with a letter of engagement with law firm Butler Snow, LLP and a bond intent resolution that states the city intends to borrow an amount not to exceed $2 million in additional funds to put artificial turf on four of six total fields at the SportsPlex.
